Some breeders use these codes to denote what generation of cross their dogs are. However there is not always consistency in the way they are applied. Generally the number denotes how many generations of labradoodle have produced the dog. eg. F1 is First Generation, F2 second etc. However when enquring it is best to ask the breeder to provide details of the 'pedigree' so you can check for yourself.
