Hi all,
We use a towel for inside raw treats eating! Not sure how it came about I don't remember training him to do it, just repeated action I suppose. But it totally throws Jasper if there's no towel down! He just stands there looking confused with his treat in his mouth.

Fish heads; a fishy business?
Hi everyone,
just a quickie..
Can I give Jasper (who is fed raw anyway) fresh fish heads? and does it matter which variety of fish?
I am finding conflicting evidence as to the pro's and cons... worms, bones etc.
please help.

I don't know about the dood misbehaving! But me? definitely feeling very rebellious at the moment!!!!!! (I'm nearly 42!!) Don't want to go to work - too hot. Don't want to cook - too hot. don't want to do housework (not that I do a lot of that anyway) - but you get my drift...   :lol...

Re: Ball Play followed by giving mummy the run around!!
Hi campfaz, Is it possible for you two to swap walks, and see if theres any difference? If not then it could be as Anne suggests. I know Jasper is definitely better behaved with my OH than he is with me? I think I read somewhere that the depth of the voice can make a difference. Also, I try and walk...

Re: All doodles come with a free agility set - or what else?
That's an interesting article that describes Jasper completely! although he's not so good at sharp turns cos back end falls over. I was especially interested in the part about emotional sensitivity, which fits with Jasp too. I would say part of a doodle kit should include sock alarms that go off whe...

Brilliant example of doodles rushing to the rescue. Duvet tip: start with the the cover inside out. stick your arms in and grab the two end corners. grab the two end corners of the duvet as well. And shake down the duvet cover over the duvet. (I have to stand at the top of the stairs to do this bit ...

Hi Mizmaz,
Just caught up on this thread; thoughts and doodle licks are with you and Lucy.
Everything crossed she comes out the other side ok.
Please keep us posted if you get a chance, cos I'm sure we'll all be thinking about you.

Re: Forgive me Doodlers, for I have sinned.... :(
I know they do pixies mum - that is often the initial comment.. are they both labradoodles? heeheehee.
And Bob and Jasper are so chilled and sweet together.
So to answer your confession Anne, I think you are forgiven because doodles shine anyway - no matter what we say.

Re: Forgive me Doodlers, for I have sinned.... :(
Hi guys, Great thread! I also have to admit having used the obscene word "just" when referring to my gorgeous dood, although it was tongue-in-cheek. Before you all jump on me, one of Jasper's besties is a Black Russian Terrier! (worth googling if you're not sure) This royalty of the dog world gets a...

Re: Any suggestions to improve this diet?
This is a good topic for me too, as we get a bit lazy and we stick to what we know works... Jasper has a turkey neck for breakfast, minced chicken for dinner, a raw egg and tinned fish once a week and occasional frozen white fish fillet or Pets at home veg stick (handy for under a café/pub table!) t...

Re: use of cartrophen injections
Hi Labradoodlelindsey, Jasper's just finishing his second course, but I'm not sure if its making any difference. His third injection seemed to give him a tummyache and loose bowels, but that could be the sock he'd eaten the same day - or his IBD! Sounds like it does vary from dog to dog... Maybe its...

Re: IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease)
Its a small world! I was brought up in Widley, and dad keeps his boat at Portchester. We love walking round the castle and playing fields. Glad to hear Florrie is still going strong, I remember reading about her when we first joined. Wobble.gob - poo inspections require picking it up (wherever it la...

Re: IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease)
Hi Wobble.gob, Colonoscopy - that's the term I couldn't think of earlier. Post-colonoscopy; be prepared for an unhappy boy as, I think, they inflate the digestive system to give the camera crew room and poor Jasper had a massive tummyache afterwards. He paced around pretty much all night so h...
