Re: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! *Angry face

Doodle Dee wrote: then let them be cagey just dont roll over - thats what insurance companies want

I have already scripted a strongly worded letter if they opt not to cover it. Believe me, the only one rolling over will be cleo, when she wants her tummy tickled!!!

Re: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! *Angry face

In response to so many comments ... if you leave it out and within reach, then it belongs to the doodle who is entitled to destroy it. So, it's your own fault, you should have put the couch away when you went out! Yep, your right, all my fault - must remember to put the Sofa back in the cupboard lo...

Re: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! *Angry face

Cleo decided that while we were at work, the sofa, which is usually her nice comfy sleeping spot, was much more enjoyable as a nice chew toy!!
Needless to say, she was very much in the dog house when we got home!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! *Angry face*

I cant quite put my finger on just exactly why, but I was a very angry and annoyed doodle lover when I got home from work yesterday.
Dont suppose anyone here has any idea why that might be do you????

Re: Running free!

WooHOO Harvey, run free. Enjoy the wild. Get away from the humans, have some dog time, and then head home again for some more pampering!! I know its bad, but we had Cleo off the lead from pretty much day one. She was really good and never strayed to far from us, and the words "away from the road" wa...

Re: Camping, Beaches and a crazy Dood!

We got to the campsite and set up the awning (first time we had done it) so left Cleo tied to a stake on a long lead. The result of which meant she was barking at us for attention, and trying to chase after the rabbits which seemed to inhabit the site. Dread to think what the other campers were thin...

Camping, Beaches and a crazy Dood!

So we took Cleo camping last week. First time out in our new van, and first time camping with a dog, so lots of learning to be had by all. We learnt that Cleo was not a fan of being cooped up inside such a small space, and we learnt that me and Mrs N were not fans of the cold, ok, freezing, nights. ...

Spaying Stinks!

Ok, so cleo has bounced back from her op on wednesday. Probably a bit to well really as we are now battling to keep her calm and rested while the wound heals. But doodles do as doodles be and quiet calm and restful is not in Cleos nature! However, one side effect from being spayed this week is that ...

Re: No puppies for our puppy

Sorry I didn't post an update yesterday, I was extremely tired after sleeping on the floor with Cleo. Well, I say sleeping in the loosest possible term! She whimpered and cryed most of the night, so I sat there stroking her head and tickling her ears, as a way to comfort and distract her from the pa...

Re: why joggers why

HaHa, love it! Wish the same could be said for rabbits! Took Cleo camping for the first time this weekend (yes, it was freezing cold). A lovely site with lots of rabbits everywhere. Cleo would sit watching the rabbits until they saw her, and ran. That little white fluffy tail flashing as they darted...

Re: No puppies for our puppy

Thanks everyone. It is a little reassuring to read everyone went thru the same.

I anticipate I will be sleeping on the floor with our puppy tonight, and praying she sleeps through and feels better come morning.

Will update and let you all know how things progress

No puppies for our puppy

I haven't been here for a while, but was hoping for a little advice Cleo got spayed today, and has spent the last 3hrs whimpering and crying. Its awful to hear/watch. Vet gave us some pain killers but told us not to give her any until tomorrow, and then just one a day. if anyone has any suggestions ...

Re: The Eyes Have It!

Thanks for your comments. Like I said, vet check tomorrow, but just keeping an eye on her (no pun intended) to see what happens. This is her eye at the moment, and the other is similar. Doesn't look like much but there is more gunk all in her fur around her eye/muzzle http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8...
