Re: Stopping?? Should I be worried?

Hi, Just to let you know that the vet has given him a thorough examination this morning. Hips seem fine and his heart is good. He has prescribed some anti inflamm medication for a week and to cut down his walks slightly in case he has pulled something/ in pain. When he lays down I've got to examine...

Re: Top Ten Toxins

Thanks for posting this Bid. We had to take Aero to the emergency vet on the bank holiday as I caught him happily munching away on an easter egg. He's stolen small bits and pieces of milk chocolate before and I've always just kept an eye on him, but this was dark chocolate so better to be safe than ...

Re: Stopping?? Should I be worried?

Hi Lindsey, try not to worry - I would get him checked out by your vet just to set your mind at rest and rule things out. It's so easy to let your imagination run wild, isn't it?

Let us know how you get on xx

Bowie and Ziggy are absolutely gorgeous, I love their beards. I am a big fan of doodle beards, the longer the better  xx

Re: Stopping?? Should I be worried?

Hi Lindsey, how is Alfie now? Any more stopping on walks? No advice I'm afraid, just checking in on Aero's bro, hope all is OK. My mum's Maxie doodle stops sometimes on walks and refuses to go any further, but with him I think it's a personality thing, exerting his authority on where he wants to go ...

Re: Studland Beach - March 15th

Oh that's a shame, I'll be away, we love the Studland walks :( . Looking forward to seeing pics - I have a great video of the last walk, you were throwing a ball for Poppy and an army of doods ran after it into the sea. Brilliant doodle moment :D xx

Re: Harvey

I'm really sorry to read this about little Harvey - try not to worry though. Like Niandsa said, aussie doods are generally neutered/spayed before they go to their forever homes. Aero (and many others on here) had the op at 6 or 7 weeks and they do bounce back incredibly quickly. Will be thinking of ...

Re: Injury no. 2!

I'm no expert, but this reminds me of my mum's Maxie doodle who bashed his leg once trying to get through a fence. Mum took him to the vet straight away who said watch and wait... poor Maxie, bless him. Being a doodle, he was unable to keep calm when I arrived to see how he was (big mistake, with hi...

Re: Stuffing removal stopped!!!

But, if there's a chink in the armour (a small tear), then she'll start the disembowelling process! I think it's the breeds - labs and poodles are both retrievers, not killers! Yep, Aero is just like this! His fluffy buddies will stay with him for months and months, but woe betide the one that gets...
