lady stitch

It is with much regret to announce that stitch was put to sleep yesterday morning. She was suffering from either bowel cancer or a ruptured tumour and was very poorly. She was just 2.5 years old. The vet gave us 2 weeks of antibiotics a few weeks back (we didnt know what it was at this point) and it...

Party for Dogs - 23rd June North West

Hi all, I was in Pets at Home the other day and there is a dog show/party on 23rd June in Lydiate, Lancs. Its in aid of Claire House Hospice and they have some good classes - one for the best six legs! Dog and Owner! They also have the West Lancs dog agility display team - similar to the one they ha...

Re: Doodles and other pets?

You are so lucky! We have a rabbit and guinea pig that live outside, and Stitch just thinks it's a big game to chase them! We have her out on the lead in the garden, but her paw goes up like she's about to launch at them. I dont think it helps that Sparky the guinea pig makes sqweeky noises...just l...

Re: Puppy Shampoo

Thanks for the replies. Stitch loves being bathed, but she does roll around lots afterwards except when she's been to the gromming parlour! I may try the Groomers Range...there's a melon and cucumber one on the P@H website which might be good for a festive treat! Failing that, the johnsons idea soun...

Puppy Shampoo

Hi,

We took Stitch to the puppy parlour and she came back smelling of sherbert! I have used the pets at home puppy shampoo in the past but it never lasts as long or smells as good as a full pamper package!

Does anyone use a particular shampoo on their dood which works wonders?

Thanks!

Re: F1 Chocolate Miniatures from Lancashire - DOB 29th Jan 2

Hi again,

Do any of your doodles have a grey/silver hairline in them? We took stitch to the beauty parlour and she's come back with a racing doodle stripe!!

Just wondered if it was in her grandfathers line as yours has the same grandad, brigadier du bois

THanks

Re: Stitch's learnt to swim...

My hoomans are not very happy with me at the moment due to a lack of sleep  Last night, being a good doodle guard, I started barking at a man that walked past my house at 1:30 in the morning - thus waking up hooman mum and dad. Poor dad had to take me outside on the lead in his dressing gown s...

Re: Stitch's learnt to swim...

Lol, she's never been keen. I think she likes the idea, but not necessarily the "doing"!

Ducks or seagulls is Stitch's prey of choice!

Will upload some more pics in the next week or so.

Stitch's learnt to swim...

Hi Doodle friends, So Stitch has actually not been too fond of the water and tends to dip her paw in it, so as not to ruin her manicured toes, and to protect mummy's beige carpet...until yesterday! She suddenly decided that it is a fun thing to see three ducks enjoying their day and ran up to them, ...

Re: New bed!

Hi, We got stitch a small round bed when we had her as a puppy...but she soon grew out of it! I was overly optimisitic she would fit into it!! We now have a duvet bed which I got from pets at home - was £27 reduced from £45 and has the "no odour, no mess" kind of promotion and have to say, looks pro...

Hi,

I think ours may be related too. Stitch's granddad was Brigadier Du Bois (sounds like he gets round a bit!) and her grandmother was Charnock Rolo.

Not quite sure how related that makes stitch to Coco, although her mum was called coco, which is strange!
