Re: Pancreatitis

Lizzie had a bout of pancreatitis which really gave cause for concern. The symptoms which alerted us included foaming blood-stained vomit and blood in her faeces. She was ok one day, then could hardly stand within 24hours. The vet was very surprised at the diagnosis as she said she has none of the r...

Re: Decent pair of wellies

I bought a pair of "Bogs" boots made by Anatom which were recommended in a walking shop in the Lake District, where they know a bit about bad weather and boggy conditions :) Apparently Bogs are very popular as work boots for the farming community up there. They have a rubber foot but the leg section...

I hope someone can help find her a caring home.

And more labradoodles needing a new home

Yet another "loving" owner looking for a new home for a breeding bitch. http://www.pets4homes.co.uk/classifieds/818949-charity-chocolate-f1-labradoodle-bitch-newport.html And another one, just a year old: http://www.pets4homes.co.uk/classifieds/837963-miniature-labradoodle-bitch-newport.html Ah, I j...

Another Labradoodle bitch for rehoming

And here's another bitch looking for a new home:

Let's hope she finds a loving home too, especially if she hasn't been spayed, the owner having intended to breed from her.

Lovely labradoodle bitch for rehoming on Pets4Homes

I just spotted this lovely girl for re-homing. She is 7 years old and it seems the owners are "retiring" her as she can no longer have pups. They claim they are doing so "with a heavy heart".... they sound rather heartless to me as they seem to be selling her now they can no longer make money from b...

Re: Is there a TV programme your doodle doesn't like you wat

Lizzie always barks like crazy at dogs, horses, gorillas, meerkats, well animals in general on the television. Sometimes she will try to look over the sideboard and behind the television to see if they are there, then she thinks they might be outside, so she jumps up and barks at the window. Haha, s...

Re: Just registered with Barking Mad

Like Bid, I was a little concerned that I wouldn't get to see where Lizzie would be spending her holiday or meet the people looking after her, but after a long fact-finding visit from the franchisee to find out about our daily routine, likes and dislikes, rules of the house (was she allowed on the s...

Re: Doodle weight

Lizzie is similar in size to Rigby as she is about 17-18" tall and weighs 11 kg. She looks reasonably well-proportioned when dry as her coat is quite fluffy, but when wet she looks like a rabbit carcass on long legs! Although she is a little smaller than expected, I like her size as she is big enoug...

Re: Kent Doodle Meet - 8 June, Capstone Country Park

What a fun morning I've had at Capstone with the Kent doodles. I'm ready for my afternoon nap, that's for sure. Thank you to Arthur's folks for organising it; I really enjoyed making new friends and hope to meet you all again soon. Till them, doodle on and enjoy the sunshine.

Re: Bullied!

Hello Calo If you Google sighthound nipping neck, you will see that this is how lurchers, greyhounds and so on behave when they are running and playing. Lizzie used to go to day care where the owner had a lurcher and she did the same thing. I felt like you when I first saw her do it, as Lizzie was v...

Re: im so so happy

Great stuff, Molly! You are a real little poppet! What do the chihuahuas think of the new addition to the family? And what does Molly think of them... They must be very small compared to her litter mates!
Keep up,the good work, Molly.
