Re: Problems with food change

That's very interesting to know that you've also had the problem of changing to adult food. Ziva currently has 2 meals a day but as I said previously, she didn't keep the 3/2 puppy/adult food down for long at all so we've kept her on puppy. We're also putting a tad of wet food with it as well which ...

Problems with food change

We've been feeding Ziva Wainwrights (Pets at home's own brand) large breed puppy food which is for dogs 2-18 moths of age. Now Ziva is 16 moths and we've tried to put her on adult food....same brand. The result was that her poo was very dry and crumbly so we then went back to puppy food and was ok a...

Grass and bones

Hi all.....another question for all you experienced doodles. We took Ziva for her walk over the park yesterday and the grass cutters had been out. As the grass had been longish, there were a lot of clumps of mown grass which Ziva took a liking for. My question is.....is this normal or should it be d...

Barking......or lack of it

Hi all Ziva has just turned 5 months and she is doing really well. She goes to "school" Saturday mornings and seems to enjoy it a lot. Now, we are surprised that she hardly ever barks. We're not sure if it's something that starts later. She's around other dogs a lot who bark at her but her response ...

Ziva's first day at school

This morning was Ziva's first puppy lesson. Seems things we thought we were doing correctly was wrong but it was very worthwhile and Ziva's tail wagged throughout the hours lesson. We've been set our homework for the week so a lot of work to do concentrating on recall and walking correctly on the le...

Re: Doodle meets Bucks/Northants/Beds

Many thanks Anne for your time in answering my question and your very informative reply. I think we will look into coming to some of your events as soon as she is trained to come back when asked. She is doing very well already with things we ask but we haven't yet had the bottle to let her run free....

Re: Another toilet training question

Many thanks to all for your advice. Would you believe it, a week has passed and Ziva very rarely has an accident inside. She sleeps in her crate at night and we never hear anything from her until about 6.30-6.45 each morning. We take her out straight away and hey presto!! Regular visits into the gar...

Hi all.......Ziva, our Doodle puppy has been with us here in Milton Keynes for a week now and seems to be settling in very nicely. Looking forward to Tuesday when she's allowed out on her first walk.

3 weeks and Ziva will be on her first walk. Are there any meets of doodles within a 30/40 mile radius of Milton Keynes ?

Another toilet training question

Hi all New to this, we only picked up Ziva yesterday. At the breeders she was trained to the pad but we have decided to immediately get her started to going outside. As you can expect, we take her out after her meal, waking up and when she appears to be sniffing around. Outside we lead her around an...
