Re: harness

I hope some of the above made sense for you, it is quite difficult to explain without actually demonstrating it lol!. Now one or two, hopefully, helpful hints. Obviously this lead training is not going to help you overnight and actually shouldn't be tried in areas where you normally walk and she is ...

Hello Evasdad. This may not be the answer you are looking for but I hope it helps in the end. Sorry, this is going to be a long post so get yourself a cuppa before we start! Training your dog to walk to heel. Step !. "Watch me". A most important asset for a dog owner. Requirements - lots of small tr...

Re: Snuggles' Puppies are 11 tomorrow

Where does the time go? I'm always asking myself that question too. Wishing Murphy a very Happy Birthday for tomorrow. I hope some of his brothers and sisters will see your post and get in touch.

Re: Is my dog overheating?

I would say that you are right and Louis is overheating. Cold water is a bit of a no no in hot weather, so try taking the chill off the water in his bowl if possible and (not easy with doods I know) try not to let him do any 'running around' in the heat of the day. Steady walkies in the early mornin...

Re: Clippers on puppy

Hi Jonathan. My doodle M sadly crossed Rainbow Bridge 5 years ago so I cant show you any recent pictures of her and all my old ones are on my old laptop. Her coat grew to around 4" in places and I used a simple human hairbrush on it several times a week, then used a 'tool' for tackling the 'winter f...

You must be so excited but please don't forget to post some new pictures very soon, he looks so very cute. Kathiedoodle. Good luck with the new groomers - don't forget the pictures after the...

Re: Clippers on puppy

Sorry not heard that about clipping. But then I never clipped my girl, just regularly brushed her long coat with the odd trim with scissors if I found a matt. I do know that her 'double' coat was useful both in the winter when it was cold (we have a farm and she was out with me in all weathers) and ...

Re: New Member

Hi Chillidog and welcome to you, your family and to Memphis (love the name by the way!). Your 'fun' life is about to begin - there is nothing like a doodle to bring laughter to normal everyday activities (and sometimes frustration as well lol!) Not sure I can help with the digging, he is very young ...

What a fabulous picture - they are both just so photogenic. How are you coping with this virus, hoping that you and the family are managing to stay safe and well.

Re: Hi, from Oscar...

Hi Oscar and his hoomans! I remember you very well and am really glad you popped in again for a catch up. Can't believe you are 8 years old already - where has the time gone? You may have read that I lost my precious M some 5 years ago now, still miss her every day but due to my age I didn't feel it...

Oh dear, not what you needed. Sorry I don't have any helpful suggestions, maybe returning to doggy training classes will help or perhaps have a word with your vet. Do keep us informed about Cooper's 'progress' please.

Re: eva

Of course you have fallen in love with her, how could you do anything else lol!! These doodles have the power to put us under their spell within hours of infiltrating our homes - not too sure how they do it but they certainly have it down to a fine art!
Cant wait for some pictures ......... please.

I also know how you feel Linny and I sincerely sympathise. It is just so hard to lose a special companion especially when life tries to continue normally but there is this huge hole that just cant be filled. My thoughts are with you, but just remember that Ambrose is never very far away from you eve...
