Re: My Poor Boys both Poorly.
Poor doods, I hope they feel better soon. There seems to be an awful lot of kennel cough around this year, it's horrid to see them poorly but they do seem to recover pretty quickly. And with them both ill at the same time they will both be better together too, you won't be waiting to see if the othe...

Re: Thats what you call bad luck
It's amazing what you can fit in when you try. We came one year with our two plus a huge foster dog in the back of the car and all our camping gear and dogs stuff and our bags in a roofbox. We have inflatable beds so they don't take up a lot of room.

Re: Awful day
Fits are scary things to watch, but more frightening for us than the dogs as they don't remember what has happened. Some dogs will have just one fit due to an infection or something, others have them more often. Your vet will be able to advise the best course of action if it happens again. They can ...

Re: Stout back home after a day at the Royal Vetinary Colleg
It is all sounding very encouraging. I wouldn't worry too much about the Addisons possibility, it seems something vets always suggest when they don't know the cause of problems. Do you have any deer farms in the area? They might be able to put you in touch with whoever does their butchering so you c...

Re: Poorly Stout
Poor little boy, and poor you and Chris. As Bid says, there have been a lot of nasty bugs around, I hope it is nothing more than that and that he is his normal self again soon. It's horrible seeing them poorly.

Re: Annual injections?????????
Thanks all, we are going to France in the summer and intend to take Poppy with us so jabs it is but I will look into it more especially if there is a test that can show she is still immune to some infections. :D Only the rabies jab is necessary for visits to France. The passport requires vaccinatio...

Re: Buzz's castration experience!
They look so miserable when you put the cone on, but they do get used to it and it is better than risking infection. He'll be back to his normal self very soon.

Re: Lobbed Austin's ear off. Guilt! :(
Oh no, poor boy. He may be a bit sensitive about having his ears touched for a while... It probably looks a lot worse than it is, and I'm sure groomers have ways of dealing with nervous dogs. Don't beat yourself up about it, groomers nick dogs when trimming them too, the only difference is they use ...

How odd, either she is trying to wash something from her nose or it is a new game! How does she seem in herself, is she behaving normally other than the bubbles?

Hi John and Rae, and Vince of course, good to speak to you again. Some of the rescue cases are really heartbreaking, it's good to be able to do something to help. I don't know anything about the other pup I'm afraid.
