Re: Did I do wrong?
Congratulations on doing exactly the RIGHT thing and stepping in to help! As you'd know, the first step in first aid is to assess risk to you or the patient, and it sounds like you did just that. Short of stripping off some clothing, I'm not sure what else you could have done. I'm quite shocked at t...

Re: Les Poochs brushes wanted
Hi Michala, I have the green double-sided Les Pooch brush for Charlie's thick fleece coat, and it's fantastic :D Before I ordered it I emailed the company with a pic of Charlie, asking for advice. The lovely lady sent me back a photo of her beautiful labradoodle, and recommended the green brush whic...

Re: OMG!! Ianto discovers the Joy of Sox...
Charlie swallowed a good chunk of the ear off his favourite cuddly dog yesterday  Not sure why he suddenly decided that was a good idea, he has had Billy Beagle for a long time! :?: Anyway, no sign of it this morning, so I took him for an extra long walk, which always stimulates a good poo or...

Re: Pet courier
I would like to describe our experience, and would also like to point out that this family is obviously committed to doing the right thing, as they are willing to take a plane journey to meet the breeder and pups! Charlie came from the other side of the country to us, as there are no accredited labr...

Re: Don't know what to do!
Hi Wendy, poor Murphy, he is probably feeling quite uncomfortable :( Quite honestly, I wouldn't listen to the vet nurse at all, that's rubbish about raw chicken giving him food poisoning. Charlie is completely raw fed, all types of meat (except pork, personal choice!) and has never had any ill effec...

Re: Too cold?
Charlie's raw meals are always served straight from the fridge :D Due to our high temperatures we never leave any food sitting around at room temperature. .... WISH we had that problem here! :D I recall those days... nothing out and never the sugar out or the ants would march in  I had w...

Charlie's raw meals are always served straight from the fridge :D Due to our high temperatures we never leave any food sitting around at room temperature. I don't think Charlie cares either way though, he is happy to dig up a manky old bone from the garden when he feels the urge - never any ill effe...

Re: Has your dood got a waterproof Trouser Suit ?
Here's the old guy lying in the snow at about -15. He had been in snow deep enough he had to deer-leap to get through and found a spot where a machine had packed the snow down to take a rest. Even at home he was happy to wander outside in cold temperatures and lie in the snow in his favorite spot l...

Wow, seriously impressed here!! I can't sew to save myself
And Fozzie looks absolutely gorgeous in his robe, can't wait to see Florence in hers as well
I would buy one - Charlie takes hours to dry

Re: My dog always has a miserable expression on his face!!
The vet recently commented on how mournful Charlie looks, he took some convincing that he's actually a very happy, tail-wagging, life-loving dog

Re: Anyone had problems with Drontal wormer?
I gave Charlie Drontal the first time I wormed him, and he was worryingly restless and panting, until he finally vomited :( He settled after that and was fine, once he'd got rid of it. Will never use it again, and he's been fine with other brands. I also only ever worm in the morning now so I can ke...

Hi Liz,
I don't come on here all that much these days but just wanted to say how gorgeous Lola is, she really is a mini Charlie
, right down to the facial expression when she looks up at you
