Re: Bonking at 10 weeks

It's a dominance thing not sexual! My 3 girls are often humping each other and they all hump my boy dog if he's getting silly! They just do it a little bit and quickly to put the other dog in it's place. Don't let them hump you, one of my dogs did it a couple of times to my youngest child who though...

Re: Hello & artificial lawn

I've just had astro turf put down in my garden and it's fantastic!!! This may sound disgusting but the poo's just sit ontop of the grass rather than me having to search them out! It's a perfect green colour and is washable! With 3 female dogs my garden was pretty much just mud so it was either we re...

Re: Help - Anal Glands!!!!! and apologies!!

All of my girls have had theirs emptied by the nurse at the vets. Candy my ASD needs hers emptied regularly. They all have firm poo's but were advised to add some extra fibre to the diet but this just made them constipated. The nutritionist at our vets looked at what food they're on and said it's th...

Re: interested in getting an australian labradoodle puppy

I have 2 miniature 50/50's that were spayed at about 6 weeks old by the breeder and they have both got juvenile vagina's. One of them has already had to have an operation to move the opening of the vagina into place and my other doodle will be having the same procedure in the summer. Their vagina's ...

Re: Australian Service Dog (ASD) or Labradoodle - advice ple

I have a medium ASD called Candy, 2 miniature half English/half ASD's and a puppy who is a standard F2. I find that Candy is so bouncy and clumsy (often walks into things!) and energy wise they're all the same although Candy does need more exercise but that could be because she's bigger. She gets th...

Re: Douglas is home - now need advice please :)

Congratulations on Douglas! Leave the dogs to play, once Douglas has had enough he'll squeal or growl or do something and it will all stop. My youngest one is 13 weeks old and my biggest doodle will often get him round the neck but they're playing and if it hurt Casper would squeal! Sometimes dogs d...

Re: A fishy problem - is it the anal glands

It does look like I have a whole mixture of sizes going on! Lol! The two brown one's are miniature 50/50 labradoodles with the darker one aged at 2 years and 3 months old, and the lighter coloured one is quite a bit smaller and she was 1 on the 2nd of Feb. The big cream one isn't too big, she's a me...

Re: My dog has started eating her Poo????!!!

My youngest girl, Willow (1 year old) eats her poo and my other dogs poo's! She's done it ever since we got her at 4 months old so I'm assuming she was doing it before then. I've been told to give all of my dogs some pineapple to eat as it makes the poo taste bad. I started giving them some pineappl...

Re: A fishy problem - is it the anal glands

Going on experience then I would say that it does sound like the anal glands need emptying! My 3 girls have all had to have theirs emptied very recently. Spoke to the dietician at our vets and she said that the food they're on is what she recommends plus they all have firm stools so she said that so...

Re: puppies getting nasty!

Sounds to me like your friends dog was trying to be dominant and your dog was putting him in his place. My youngest doodle is 12 weeks old and a friend brought her 15 week old Labrador puppy round. We put my other doodles in the garden and left the two puppies to play together. Straight away Casper ...

Really hope you can all come along! It will be Casper's first time off lead so will need as many eyes on him as possible so that we don't lose him and my eyes will be on you to make sure you don't dog nap him! Lol! xxx
