Hi Pauline... I have a 9 yr old yorkie called Deano and he has had 2 FCE's. They both happened at home whilst he was snoozing. The first affected his right back leg. With complete rest he regained nearly all movement; however with the second (about a year later) his complete right side was affected ...

Grain free is definitely the way to go if you want to feed a dry food. Dogs can't produce the enzymes needed to digest grains...
