Re: Phoebe's got a bald patch!

Hi Roma,

I don't think the skin scrape was too expensive. For the visit, the scrape and the blood test I paid £76.

Hoping to get blood results today so will know more later.

Re: Baby /dog

I agree with Suzi - barking is a way of telling you something's up at the door or outside. Phoebe does it and I'm happy with it because I live alone, so she's being a good guard dog. On the jumping thing, I'm afraid it's a doodle trait! Phoebe is 3 1/2 and I've only just got control of it. You need ...

Re: Phoebe's got a bald patch!

She hasnt caught her hair on anything has she.Teds is always getting tangled in bushes and brambles.Mabel seem to get away with it because her coat is much tighter curls, not that that helps in anyway. What would cause Alopecia? Lots of doodle licks from Ted an Mabel. Ted doodle Well, she doesn't h...

Phoebe's got a bald patch!

About two weeks ago I noticed a bald patch on Phoebe's back, about three inches across. It's not red and it's not bothering her and because her fur is quite fine (and she likes to roll!) I figured maybe she'd rubbed the fur away. It hasn't spread or gotten any bigger. Anyway, as I'm going on hols fo...

Re: doodles travelling in cars - what do you do?

Phoebe is 3 1/2 and has always traveled in a crate in the back of my hatch. I recently changed cars and have started letting her travel loose (i.e. out of the crate) in the boot. She seems to enjoy it and looks out of the window or lies down on the special mat I bought from Hatchboot. I've only done...

Re: Bit of a rant.

Bid's right about the lead thing, but I know it's hard when your pup has had a bad experience. You'll be nervous when she meets another dog, it's natural, but that's the worst thing you can do (be nervous) because she'll pick up on it immediately and then she'll get nervous too. I would suggest lett...

Re: Help Sprained Ankle

Sorry to hear about your ankle, Dee. When Phoebe broke my leg (!) I used to sit on a chair in the garden and thrown the ball for her. She soon learned if she wanted to chase it again, she had to bring it back to me. She also taught herself what "can't reach" means  Unfortunately, as you say, th...

Re: Dolly not eaten her dinner??

So long as everything else is okay - pooh, drinking, energy etc - I wouldn't worry too much. Phoebe often leaves her breakfast. I pick it up and usually try her again after she's been out and she'll eat it then. I guess sometimes they're just not hungry when we want them to be. If it continues, mayb...

Re: Ianto would like to introduce.....

Been away for a while and only just seen this. That is one seriously cute little guy! Phoebe is a parti- at a stretch (white blaze on her chest) and it was one of the things that drew me to her when I was looking.

More pix please!!!!
