Re: Not winning! ;-(

Stanley did this too at that age. He did it in the evenings when he was overtired. I discovered that grooming him (sitting on the floor with him between my legs), really calmed him down and he would actually fall asleep whilst I brushed & combed him - he has always liked being groomed though. He has...

Re: just measured the doodle!

Stanley is a 'mini' doodle, same parentage as Buzz - lab mum, miniature poodle dad. He was 2 in September and he's stopped growing now. Measuring is fun, as he tries to eat the tape measure! He measures 23 inches to the shoulder and weighs just over 23 kilos. He's looks more lab than poodle. These p...

Re: So sad

Donkeydoodlelulu - yes, the sadness is aweful. Kimberleyone - what a lot of sadness you have experienced. Our pets are so special to us and we miss them so much when they have gone. Hope Mundersley gets to share your lap with another cat soon! Campfaz18 - I agree, I've always had cats. Thank you for...

So sad

Feeling very sad and tearful ... had my lovely cat put to sleep this evening. He was old and very frail and was very unwell today. I felt it was the kindest thing to do. He was a rescue cat and had a bad start, so I was determined he would not suffer at the end. He had a lovely life with us and was ...

Ahh ... Stanley did the exact same thing to my mum yesterday! I would put a photo on, but can't remember how to do it.

Re: Advice please ... dog swallowed burgh

McDoodle - morning, I did not know that burgh meant town! I'm a bit of a stickler for correct spellings. I did google to try and find the right way to spell it, but couldn't find anything. Any suggestions as to the correct spelling?

Stanley is absolutely fine, thanks.
