Re: Hello from We5Kings

Poppy Green and family are near Bridgwater too! She takes her Dad along the Huntspill river every morning and to Brean and Berrow beach out of season. It's the only place we saw other Doodles. We are still trying to organise ourselves to get to the Ashton Court M.E.S.S. and hope you will be there to...

Re: Thunder shirt??

Poppy Green has a 'premier easy walk' front fastening harness, from good ole' Amazon. After trying all the usual training with no result and her getting stronger by the day, we were desperate! It really works for her, if she pulls she just gets turned sideways, so gives up pulling. Her big human sis...

maternal instincts?

Since Poppy Green has finished her first season, she has more interest in playing with her 'cuddly toys'. Some-one suggested perhaps she's gone all maternal now she's 'grown-up' a bit. Well, I'm glad we will never breed from her, as 'going all maternal' involves shaking to bits, chucking in the air,...

Re: Really cuddly

Poppy Green is in the fertile [or 'up for it'] stage of her first season and is very clingy, including wanting to sit on my lap...all 27kg.... She has regressed to bonkers greeting of every-one, including strangers, and 'presenting her bits'! She has also scent marked everything especially the door ...

Re: Washing thief - we need some help

We had this problem with Poppy Green, we have a loose line and a very tall prop [a piece of batten with a 'v' for the line.] We can get the line out of her reach so she eventually gave up. Still loves to torment us by stealing pegs, and we put the basket on a chair or she will try to snatch the clot...

Re: introducing Poppy Green

Thank-you all so much for your lovely welcoming comments, although I often compare Poppy to other Doodles on here, really there are no two the same, right? Which other breed has so much individuality, but common traits such as a fun-loving, gentle personality....and sleeping up-side down!

Re: introducing Poppy Green

Hi Stel, can we have a picture of Poppy....pleeeeeeese? I would love to show her off [especially as she just had a bath] but I only have an android 'tablet' thingy [big hint to what my skills are] so I will try and get Poppy's clever humans sisters to try on their laptop [thingys]. She is a apricot...

introducing Poppy Green

Hi, our labradoodle Poppy [yes another one, it's such a great name!] is 9 months old and has been in our family for 6 hilarious months now. I had a dog before, but this is my OH first one, so it has been quite a shock to his system as he has to do all the walking and puppy classes. We would love to ...
