Re: Sudden aggression towards some dogs

Not getting territorial at all are they? We've started noticing that Roker is getting a bit feisty on our street on the lead but away from there he is fine. Only happens with 2 or 3 dogs that if we see them on the street or through the garden fence he is barking and growling but put the same dogs on...

Re: Toilet training at 8 weeks!

We got Roker in December so i spent the majority of the winter in the garden house training him and at times i thought we'd never get there. After a decent start we had a spell where it was a nightmare. Got into a routine of going outside first thing, lunchtime, last thing along with after food, aft...

Re: Sensitive dood

Some people dont always get what i mean when i say this but Roker is not keen on sounds he cant see if that makes sense. If he cant see whats made the noise then he doesnt like it at all. I think he just likes to be reassured by knowing where the noise has come from. We sometimes wander along one of...

Re: Photos

Roker has no time for them so tries to get rid of them by whacking them with paw or nose or just trying to catch them in his mouth. Often find trying to get behind the blinds on the windows on the stairs to get at one. As you can imagine this can get very annoying for him when he's with us in France...

Re: Photos

Quick update....downloaded an app called "Image Size" to my iPhone that lets me change the size of the photo to make it smaller so it doesnt take over so i've just edited my post with the photo in to use an uploaded version after i'd changed the size to make it a bit more forum friendly!! Re: Photos

Can I ask, is this method compatible with iPhone and Mac? Or is it just for Microsoft users? I'm no expert but understand these are different. Above photo, that appears to have taken over the whole screen as its gone on very large, was uploaded via my iPhone. Just go to the site on Safari on ...

Re: Photos

Had a quick google for "Photobucket Alternatives" and unsurprisingly it brings back a lot of recent links as this change has hit a lot of folk. Its a bit of a minefield but these two popped up as possibles :- https://vgy.me/ https://cubeupload.com/ I'm not recommending them and you may want to check...

Re: Quirky Behaviour

We dont have another bowl to try as the other one we had is down at my parents house for when he's down there and has a rubber strip around the bottom to stop it sliding so he wouldnt be able to do it with that one anyway. Its only a light metal bowl we use for him at our house so very easy to move ...

Quirky Behaviour

I'm sure like most of our doodles Roker has his own little quirky things that he does and a lot of the time i can sort of make sense of it. When we're out playing with his ball he will drop it in on the floor and then roll around on it on his back which i suspect is just him enjoying himself, he wil...

Re: PHOTOBUCKET HOLDING PEOPLES PHOTOS RANSOME

Thought Photobucket was there to allow folk to post them on other websites and they even give you the codes to do it under photos. To turn around and say you've got to pay because you've been doing what it was for is very cheeky. Just checked mine via the iPhone app and i could still get in but to b...

Re: Toooooo Hot!!

Roker has been to the south of France for the last 3 years when its pushed into the high 30s but still isnt keen on the heat and although we havent resorted to his Aquamat Chiller coat as yet like we do in France we've not done much with him to be safe. Most of our downstairs is now tiled so he's be...

Re: Lifetime Cover: New provider v's PetPlan etc ?

I used Petplan for the first few years with Roker but this time around they sent me a renewal that had jumped up massively. I checked as a new customer on their site and it was way lower. Now i know new customers will get better offers to hook them but i rang them to see if it would come down a bit ...

Re: Barking!

Yep definitely seems to be territorial not helped with 4 dogs in 4 adjoining gardens. Just strange how on neutral ground three of them play together fine. All the fences are over 6ft so they can't see each other just know they are there. Could do with it being like today...roker didn't fancy the sun...
