Dood and his food

Hiya, I've been reading all the posts about the food and am after some advice. We have always fed Pluto JWB as that is what he was on with the breeder. He is having 450g a day and is still hungry. He eats from a slow feed bowl but he still hoovers it up in minutes. I feed him carrots, apples, banana...

Re: Help!. Leaving dog during day

Hiya, Pluto is 4mths old and has been crated from the off. My husband and I both work full-time so Pluto is in the crate from 8.30 til 12.00 when I go home to give him his lunch and walk him etc, then back in the crate from 1.00 til 3.30 when my husband and daughter come home. He did go through a sp...

Re: Baby doodle going inside A LOT

Hiya, Pluto did take to peeing on my rug a few times but I found a tip in the puppy book to use biological washing powder/tablet to clean the scent away. I dissolved a tablet in some hot water and used it to clean my rug, he hasn't peed on it since. I also give Pluto a treat when he comes in from go...

Re: Porridge for Nell?

Hiya, after reading the earlier posts I sprinkled some porridge oats onto Pluto's dinner (he's also on JWB, but cannot take the duck flavour) just to see if he liked it, and he loved it. I think I'll be adding a bit to his breakfast from now on. Thanks for the tip :D

Re: Pets at home pork bones, are they ok?

We bought a frozen raw bone at the weekend and defrosted it in the fridge
I have had to light a Yankee candle as the room smells like a butchers. Pluto absolutely loves it

Horse Poo

We took Pluto for his first walk to Virginia Water today. Very busy with people, bikes, dogs, kids on scooters etc lovely walk apart from Pluto eating horse poo. What is that about? I also saw another dog rolling itself in it. Why do dogs get so excited over this? Can it harm them? http://i1355.phot...

Re: First paranoid question

Aww bless him, is this the first day with you? Pluto didn't eat the first day we got him, even mixing his food with a little warm water didn't entice him. Luckily we had booked him in to have his first injection the very next day and the vet explained that it is quite normal as they are in a new pla...

Re: Harvey is here

He is gorgeous. As a new doodle owner myself (Pluto is 4mths) I found crating Pluto works brilliantly. He only cried for 10mins on the first couple of nights. Nowadays as soon as I go to his crate treat tin he jumps into the crate and waits for his treat. Sounds like Harvey is already a very clever ...

Re: Dog overalls on sale...

Thank you. I have ordered one for Pluto and a new harness as he managed to wriggle himself out of his one at puppy training and then ran round the class showing the other puppies how clever he was!!! <a href="http://s1355.photobucket.com/user/hillerhouse/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-01/1A13D3DD-2D58-...
