Re: Introducing Monty :)

He's been a busy dood these past two days. When we walk, he was pulling on his leash quite a bit (it may be excitement at being in a brand new place - our walks go around the loch where we live so there's foxes, deer, frogs, newts and a whole host of bird life, which is a lot to smell and process fo...

The fact that the Dogs Trust we were adopting from is just under an hour's drive away has meant that every trip takes a full morning/afternoon! We went over on Thursday, walked Monty (formerly know...

Re: In the process of adopting a doodle

Thanks :) I do feel that he's been let down a bit by his previous family. I'm very careful when out and about with my deaf dog (Zara) as she is easily startled and I would never allow someone to pet her when she's asleep! I mean, there's even a saying about that! The doodle looked so sad in the kenn...

In the process of adopting a doodle

Hi everyone, I've been reading this forum for a couple of days now, doing some research. I am just starting the process of adopting a labradoodle from a rehoming centre. He's a lovely big boy, 2 years old and black. He's sadly been at the centre twice in his short life (at 8 months and, again, about...
