Re: Sensitive itchy skin - any food recommendations please?

Oh pot! I had typed a long reply here and my laptop suddenly swallowed it - grrrrrr!! No time now to repeat but will say Dawn - regarding Luna's sensitive tum, check out Tails.com. They have just come to the rescue of my little elderly JR terrier Mrs Nest and WOW I have a wonderful happy lively litt...

Re: Itchy Coat

Hello Cooperman and welcome. Not sure I can help with your doodle's problem except to confirm about possible allergies to a food change and flea bites. Just one flea 'running' around can cause a dog to start itching/nibbling and once they start it seems to become more or less a habit! Has he been wa...

Re: Tips on helping with dogs being a bit 'liverish' please.

Glad to report that at last we seem to be back to normal. This evening she was actually keen to eat her tea and even looked for more! I have ordered some recommended food for her - to help with acidity and acid reflux so hopefully she will like it and it will help to avoid any more upsets.

Re: Tips on helping with dogs being a bit 'liverish' please.

Thanks for the reply. Vet has said that it is her age and the fact that her liver is 'slowing down' in its ability to work at top notch. Also suggested that as we have been doing to continue watching what she eats, go with the natural yoghurt and, once she starts eating again properly, try adding mo...

Tips on helping with dogs being a bit 'liverish' please.

Elderly JR Mrs Nest has been a bit 'liverish' over the past year or so. Seems a lot worse this weekend - was sick and now not fancying any food. Other than this she is still her normal self. We have always been very careful her away from 'fatty' foods over the past few years and I cannot think of an...

Re: Hurray.....small steps

I wish the law could be changed to NO fireworks except in organised displays only to be held on Nov 5th (and also New Year). The whole firework 'thing' has become ridiculous with fireworks being set off anywhere at anytime - and sometimes dangerously! I know a lot of folks will think I'm a spoil spo...

Aww Linny, she's really cute - love the expression they have when they look towards you like that - you do love me don't you? Don't have pics of my minis on this laptop, will try to get some fresh ones over the next few weeks.

Re: Photos

Some great photos appearing here, keep them coming folks! Why do mine have the writing and error above them - what am I doing wrong? Mrs Nest's real name is Kacy but she has been Mrs Nest for years - she cannot go to sleep without 'nesting' in or under something - under the bed covers, under/in her ...

Re: End of an era

Yes that's me for my sins! Have a farm high up in one of Wales' forests with various cats, JR's, mini horses and of course M. A few years ago we divided the farm (just too much to look after properly) and now have some lovely neighbours plus some 27 acres left for us. We converted one of the old sto...

Love the picture of Ambrose and Jethro Linny, and great to see all the rest of the tribe. I remember enjoying your tales in the past of all your other animals. Keep up the good work!

Re: End of an era

Hi everyone. Thank you Mark for accepting me here and for enabling this wonderful forum to keep going. I was one of the 'originals' here with my doodle 'M' and so enjoyed all the chat and help given. Sadly I lost M in 2014 and decided that due to my age I would not be getting another dood, I couldn'...
