Re: First Season

Please do be careful during the season. Meg had hers at 9 months and after 3 weeks it appeared to stop. We let her off lead in the park and a friend's cocker spaniel immediately mounted and mated, we were truly powerless to intervene. The vet recommennded an emergency spay 2 weeks later. She wasnt p...

Re: Is it best to mate a F1 with F1 or back to Poodle? HELP

It is when posts get out of hand like this that prevents me posting on here any more. Amber is without doubt a caring and loving dog owner and has bred from her dog with all relevent health tests and care in place, you only have to look at all her posts to see that. She is able to advise from experi...

Re: Puppies and older dogs

Is this really a friend? If any of my friends smacked my dog they would politely be shown the door. We have NEVER hurt our dog and at 18 months she has become calm and knows her position in the family through consistent and positive reward based training. Your friend should know better.

Re: Anyone from suffolk/Norfolk

We would be up for a meet too. I will contact Debbie as it's been too long and Meg and Barney are besotted with each other. We usually go to Earlham Park Sunday mornings for a run. Have to say wet ,cold doodles are not much fun though. Lindsey

Re: Christmas......oh god!

I have to say I would not have a christmas tree with decorations during year 1!!!!! Meg was keen on anything dangley or sparkley at 6 months. She is fine at 18 mths with stuff at her level but unless your pup is unusually well-trained I would leave it for a year or put it in a room away from temptat...

Re: Barney & Megs Sleepover

Thank you Kathy, they are a happy pair. I think Debs and I agree that one each is enough for now. Will Meg ever calm down? At least she got the all clear from her pneumonia last week. 5 and a half weeks on antibiotics and steroids!!!!!

Re: Barney & Megs Sleepover

Thank you so much Debs. Meg has slept here all afternoon, you definitely need a medal for wearing her out though I suspect we are benefitting from it more than you did!!!!! Barney is due a return visit anytime. Many thanks again and lovely photos. LindseyX

Re: Norwich Stroll in the park

Thanks for posting the photos Angie. We like the one of Meg laughing at Niall. A lovely walk and happy tired doods at the end. Just long enough for our roast to be ready on return.....Perfect! Lindsey
