Re: Potential new labradoodle owner

Hi, I think a medium sized dood would be perfect. Smaller dogs cope just as well if not better than larger breeds on long walks as they tend to suffer less joint problems and have less bulk to carry. As you proberbly already know get proof of health tests and go to a good breeder. Regarding the sex ...

Re: shoulder pain/ limping:/

The vet said it was coming from his shoulder, its tender to touch
for him. Metacam seemed to improve his symptoms but once
off it it gradually got worse.
Weird thing is he hasnt done anything to strain it only his usual
walks before etc.:/

shoulder pain/ limping:/

Hi, Dexter is poorly again:( He started limping four weeks ago holding his whole leg in the air, went to the vets and they examined/xrayed him not any breaks, metacam and rest a week later he was fine. So we started lead walking short distances and next day he was limping and then fine again. So we ...

Re: Such hatered of our doods.

I have recently deleted a page on facebook after someone posted a picture saying Labradoodles are mongrels and something about back yard breeders and the price you pay for a 'mongrel' I had to comment and said but its okay to pay thousands for a pedigree bulldog that cant give birth etc and I also s...

Grey skin on tail, bumps, dried blood??

Odd title I know! Has anyone had this on their dog.... Dexter has a weird skin condition at the top of his tail. Its grey looking with lots of small bumps that are crusty with dried blood. It seems to be spreading:/ They look like small ticks but under the skin. He has seen the vet for this before a...

Re: Dog-friendly Holidays and Days Out Section

I'd recommend 'little impetts' its a 17th century cottage in kent. Dog friendly, and great walks from the cottage:) The owner next door makes homemade cakes, jams and chutneys and sells them at the local farm shop. http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/VacationRentalReview-g186311-d2137973-Little_Impetts_sle...

Dexter has Arden grange large breed chicken and rice dry food and we mix this with a slither of Forthglade chicken and veg meat or lily's kitchen which contains meat and natural ingredients. He seems to be doing very well on this we buy a large bag and this lasts us a month with the meat and Dexter ...

Re: Oo-oo, Why do people think they can be rude about Doodle

Ohh please dont get me started on this one:0 I dont understand why people have to be so nasty. They are a cross breed so what. I can only think its ignorance and lack of knowledge. All dogs are designed in some way and some not verywell! Live and let live people:)

Re: Etsy handcrafted ID tags

I also use Indigo tags, as the ones that hang from the collar are forever getting lost as they wear away, but I do like to have something hanging from the D-ring to hold as I clip the lead on, so I may get Daisy one of the Etsy ones, as I have just broken her heart (the pink quartz heart she wears,...
