Re: Need to start again with recall!!

Hi, like everyone we have real problems with Dorcas's recall, so for the last several weeks I have worked and worked on it. It is still not 100% but much better. Our big problem is people she knows, she spots them when she is off her lead and just runs over to them. We were walking last weekend with...

Re: Helicopter tails

Dorcas swaps her wags during the wag itself. One minute is side to side then it goes round and round then back to side wags. The rest of her can stay the same during the changes.

Re: Need a better cleaner for my patio, can anyone help?

Why not treat the concret to make it none-porous? You can do this around pools, in basements etc so why not do that, then the smell can't get into it and stay there. These products penetrate the surface to about 3-4 inches so that should be enough. Jeyes fluid is really harmful to cats but so is ANY...

Re: How to transport my puppy??

We traveled back with Dorcas on my knee (Dave had to drive so I got the cuddles, lol) It took us about 2.5 hours drive home and we stopped once and let her out for a wee but nowhere near the doggie walking bit so not to pick up any bugs. She spent most of the trip giving kisses and hugs then fell as...

Re: Help please! Hills ZD

Hi, I had never heard of ZD, if the vets say give it a try then why not? God bless you, you have tried every other course you could of taken. Dorcas is on Hill's but just the normal Adult Light and she loves it, it is the first and only food that she has ever eaten straight from the bag. We have nev...

Re: Dollys Crying!!!

Poor little Dolly, she is so cute. How did you get on with her last night in the end. Everyone gave you great addvice. We were very lucky with Dorcas as she never made a peep on her first night or any after that. She walked into her crate and fell asleep and we went to bed, we left her crate door wi...

Re: Cost of worming and passport stamping for EU trip?

We have traveled over on Condor ferry's for over 20 years and have NEVER paid for any of our dogs at all....not a penny. They stay in the car unless you are a foot passenger and they crate them for you. We don't sneek the dogs on as we get a sticker (white one) off them when we check in saying that ...

Re: Cost of worming and passport stamping for EU trip?

We have a passport for Dorcas as she travels to France with us, but she has had it before the laws changed. Can't help on the cost of it in the UK but we paid about 40 euros last July in France so it would be about £36. How are you planning on traveling to Europe with your dog? If you go on the ferr...

Re: Bath/water/swimming

Dorcas loves any type of water so long as it is wet !!!!!
Cold or warm and she is more than happy to get in the shower, in fact she doesn't mind if you are in it. She is not keen if I am in the bath, shower fine, but bath she thinks im swimming without her !!!!!
