Blood spots under skin. HELP!

I always give Florrie a belly rub before she goes to bed every night and last night I noticed she had a rash. Originally we weren't sure if it was just mud, so I got a wet cloth and its definately her skin. It looks similar to the meningitis rash that people would get, different sized small blood sp...

Re: Worried about developing hip dysplasia in later years..

Florrie turned 3 at the end of may but we've always noticed her funny gait right from when she was a pup. Its just as she's getting older, its becoming more obvious, other people are starting to comment, people who don't see Florrie everyday.

Re: Worried about developing hip dysplasia in later years..

I find all of this very interesting as I worry about Florrie's hips. She has bowed back legs and her paws point in. As she walks, she kicks her paws on the other one, tripping herself over at times, if that makes sense. As she is getting older, it is getting worse, her legs are bowing more and she i...

Re: Mollies got Thyroid deficiency

Hiya, Florrie has Hypothyroidism (under active) and is on daily medication for it. She was diagnosed when she was about 15 months old ish. As she was so young when first diagnosed, it took a long time to get a correct diagnosis for her as thyroid problems tend to occur in older dogs and not youngste...

Re: got that bug

Ive just had the bug too. I went on a trip on Thursday to a science museum with work (kids holiday club) and felt terrible all day with awful pains and feeling faint. Everytime I was gripped with pain, I thought I was going to throw up. I felt so bad that they dropped me off on the way back to work ...

Re: Boots and Steam Mops and Turtle Mats - Questions Questi

We have a turtle mat at the back door which is brilliant in wet weather with 3 dogs. We also have an H20 Mop steam cleaner from Robert Dyas. It was £99.99 and is brilliant! It comes with a number of attachments, we use it on our hard floors where the dogs beds are, on the carpets, in the bathrooms, ...

Re: Daisy's sore bits!

Poor Daisy :-(
Hope shes feeling better soon. I remember how sore Florrie was when she had skin biopsies taken so can't even imagine how sore Daisy must be feeling.
Hope they heal up quickly and don't cause her too much bother.

Re: dylan at vets too

Hope hes feeling better soon. Florrie and Sophie got KC about 2 years ago. We were told to give them honey to soothe their throat and childrens Benylin cough mixture (its the only safe one for dogs) it did help. They both soon bounced back, they were both in the vulnerable catergory as Florrie was a...

Re: Sophie's Poorly

Thanks for your well wishes for poor old Sophs. The vet wasnt sure what is causing it, her temp and heart rate were ok and her gums are difficult to check if they are pale as they are black. Her tummy was sore when the vet checked. She gave Sophie an anti sickness jab which so far seems to have done...

Sophie's Poorly

I was reading on here last night about Ziggy and Alfie and hoping they were ok. Then this morning we came down to discover our nearly 16 year old mini poodle is sick. Shes been sick 8 times. She'd been.sick all in her bed which is very unusual and cant keep anything down. Shes throwing up whatever w...
