Oooh cute, I really like Salukis, there is one who lives near us, and she is the most elegant looking dog, and she has a fab walk :D

Aren't salukis supposed to be the most disobedient dog EVER? Just imagining... nope, I don't think so! think I'll stick to labradoodle!

We've got a friend who had a Saluki until recently, a rescue one who was incredibly nervous. Sweet dog though, very tall and skinny, so a poodle cross would end up like a woolly greyhound with wild markings.

We see a beautiful cream Saluki on our walks. The lady also has two greyhounds. She takes the Saluki to dog shows and has won lots of rosettes. She told me they used to be desireable and quite expensive but now not so much. I cant picture a woolley coated one though!

I can only think that it was a small Poodle because of her size she was a lovely brown colour, with a longish coat and look pretty much like a Dood, just thinner.
But then she doesnt live with me LOL

My previous best friend was a saluki , she was rescued from gypsies at 18 months old. she was easy to train, was loving , cleaver, she was my soal mate.they are not difficult to train at all.
I now have a saluki poodle cross, a saloodle (Molly) ,5 months old and as big as a boxer dog allready .She was house trained within days, she has fantastic recall ,she is to clever for her own good, we go to training classes and has been the quickest to pick things up. She wasnt bought as a designer dog as most oodles tend to be , she was the result of a broken gate and the poodle (dog)getting into the breeders yard. I had her for the saluki in her, I just hope she grows up to be as loving, loyal, obedient and beautifull as Saffie was, her main problem is she hates to be brushed ,and now is suffering from panosteitis. Shes just growing to fast , she gets taken for a labradoodle all the time but her coat is very different .
