SHe got hurt in a boisterous game with Beamish yesterday :( . She was struggling to put one of her back legs down, and is very subsued today - I expect she's knocked her hips out a little. Past week she had the first of a course of some long lasting anti inflammatory tablets, so I can't give her anything else. It'll have to be rest for the weekend and see how she is on Monday. She didn't even want her breakfast this morning, which is unheard of!

:( Ohh poor Daisy, boisterous young teenagers eh ! Amber had a similar mishap at around 8 months old, was the filling in a doggy sandwich and got herself squished, just running around and playing.. she'd cracked the bone in her front leg it turned out, ouch. Growing bones heal quick though and no lasting damage done.. Hope Daisy is feeling better soon, poor thing..

Ouch, that does sound painful, poor Dais :( Must be bad if her anti-inflamms aren't helping.

I suppose giving her a pain killer wont help because then she wont rest it? I hope she gets through the weekend ok and her appetite picks up.

I took her out for a gentle stroll - she thought that a cooling mud pack would ease it    You can't keep a good doodle down!
