Dexter went to the groomers today for hes cut ,ready for the doodle bash ,hopeing for good weather,came bck took him out he ran all through the muddy pudles and then played with a bull terrier all through the long wet grass ,he loved it but hes fur is just as bad as before he went ,I dont know if any of your dogs do this but when he runs with dogs he goes mad dashing but he seems to run straight into the dog worrys me sick and i have to keep yelling at him to be steady,just dont want him hurting another dog.

I think having a hair cut makes them doodle dash even more Elaine. Alfie is like a spring lamb after his visit to the groomers!! X

Sounds like Dexter had great fun after his visit to the groomers .

As for running into other dogs I can't help there, but when we met him & he ran into Wurly, it was all in fun & I think it looks worse in your eyes because your worried about him hurting the other dogs, but Wurly didn't mind she just moved out of the way

Lara is the same - went to the groomers on Saturday and does turn into a complete loon - as much mud and water she can find to snorkel in and she is happy.

Lara also does body slamming, but only with dogs the same age as her. It is as if she knows they are young and therefore up for some rough play. Not always appreciated by other dog owners though
