Introducing a parti-poodle into the line will do that.

I seem to recall one of Wentwood's videos said they had parti doodles from introducing a cocker spaniel to the mix. I might be misremembering but cant check now as it would wake hubby! The video clips are short so look up Wentwood on youtube and see if you can find what Im talking about.

thanks, I would really love to breed my teddi with a parti coloured poodle or labradoodle when shes older and if shes well and healthy, (shes only 13 weeks at the moment though, bless her,)... i'll have to get her hip-scored- how much would this cost me?Image

Not just hip scored, but eye tested (PRA gene) and ideally elbow tested too... at least, as an owner, that's what I'd be asking for.

Not being a breeder I dont know costs, but as you wouldn't be breeding from her for around another 18 months, whatever it costs now will probably be a bigger sum by the time she's old enough! I suppose on the plus side you have time to save up! As I think the dog has to be sedated and x-rayed, and then the images sent off for analysis, it is probably fairly expensive.

I really like the website www.dogbreedinfo.com, have you read it? Lots of info about the nitty gritty of breeding on that site. Interesting stuff!

Hope your adorable Teddi brings you much happiness, whether or not you ever breed from her. :-)

There's a huge amount to think about - one of them being did you get your girl on breeding terms from her breeder, or as a pet?
