Bruno maybe finally learning something?

I have always tried to get Bruno calm when meeting other dogs, especially when he is on his lead, if only to stop me looking like an idiot being dragged on my bum along the pavement!!

Well, I had started stopping where we were when I saw another dog approaching (this is lead walks) This is what I have been doing....
-Get him to sit while the other dog passed us.
-If the other dog looked like it wanted to say hello, I let him do his doodle thing
-If not, I kept Bruno in between my calves tightly wedged in a sitting position, stroking his ears telling him he is a good boy while the other dog passed on by.

Well, it seems like he is learning.

Today, we were out and saw on elderly dog approaching so I said 'wait', like I always do.
Bruno shuffled around, manouvered himself in between my legs and sat. He then looked up at me ready for his ear tickle and praise!!

The elderly dog passed and we carried on.

I'm starting to look like I know what I'm doing now!!!

Well done Bruno - I understand your game and I approve. You're going to play Mummies game a coup,e of times until she starts to relax and then....... do a real doodle bounce when she is least expecting it. These hoomans just don't understand how clever we are
