Hello

Oh wow, how exciting!!

I picked up my new puppy yesterday. We have two dogs already.

My philosophy, which has worked for introducing new pups to date is

1. If you can, put aside a couple of days to completely manage the situation
2. Make sure that you current dog get more, not less, attention (ie the pup is good news).
3. Crate train your puppy as soon as possible. This means that you can give your other dog space if he need it.

If anyone has a better way of going about it then please let me know, I am very much finding my way through it!!

Thanks for the reply.

I've booked three days off so I'm here to get them settled in together, I've also put up two separate crates side by side so they'll be separate but will see each other still :D
He's quite good with other dogs but does get a tad excited which is to be expected given his age.
Good luck with your introductions fingers crossed mine goes just as good :P

Sounds really good!!

All we need is a picture asap!! I am really interested in how my girl's coat turns out (the great doodle mystery) and would love to see your pups coat.

Oops, she has just woken up .... out for a pee then!
