Names for a little boy

Post by casa42 » 13 Jun 2015, 08:38

Hello

Coco is going to have a little brother soon he is a cockapoo and currently only three weeks old. The puppies are apricot with darker ears and the little boy we are leaning towards has a white chest and a white spot on the top of his head. We are currently trying to come up with boys names but are really struggling. I would like to have some ideas so that when we get to see him again at five weeks we can select a name for his microchip details. Any help gratefully received.

When I can remember how to import pictures I will put some on :D

I can relate to that, linny - Ianto's other name is The Artful Dodger...

A new puppy..... ooh, exciting!! I was only thinking we haven't had many new pups on the forum recently after a spate over the New Year (including ours!)
Some of the names we went through before agreeing on 'Wyre' were: Joey, Penfold, Colin, Alwen, Marty, Tarka (more for a Border Terrier), Alric, Iago, Rhodri, Steve, Meredith (Merry), Aethan, Raphael, Wedge (I really liked that one!), Wilks (well, Ianto is a diminutive of John and our surname is Booth... ), Graham, Keir, Dave, Gethin, Jake, Idris and my personal favourite (because we drove past it several times whilst we were visiting and collecting the wee one) - Ecclefecchen....
Boys names are so much fun for doodles... One of the doods on the forum was called 'Mundesley', I love Bid's 'Beamish', and I fondly remember Julieju's 'Aero'... Go for it! (Though you do need to feel comfortable yelling it down the field... )

Oh, ...and photos please :D

Harley, lol, is a good name, for a thief.

He stole his dads chicken off the side the other night.

Boys names are so much fun for doodles... One of the doods on the forum was called 'Mundesley',

Mundesley is named after a village in N Norfolk that we frequent on a regular basis (More regular now we have moved here :) ) We always said that if we had another Doodle we would call him Trunch, which is the next village inland! Mundesley does get shortened to Muns though.

You could always think about Fenton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Noah, Nate and Quincy for a boy. But what about Rusty or Butters for his coloring?

I also love nature names; bracken, birch, forest, woody?
