Tilly - Cancer Diagnosis

Post by tillytubbie » 30 Oct 2015, 13:31

A couple of months ago I noticed a lump on Tilly's front leg. X-rays, a referral to Fitzpatrick and CT scans later showed it to be an Osteosarcoma. The most aggressive form of Bone Cancer.
I am heartbroken. As silly as it seems, she is the love of my life, a one in a million dog. After the initial shock I am making the most of every minute with her. Many of you will remember posts about her from years ago. I trained her to be my assistance dog when I couldn't walk. She was a fab Agility dog and knows more tricks than most dogs out there! She has been my very best friend since I was 11 years old. A world without her is unimaginable.
Life is so cruel sometimes.Image

So sorry to hear your news. I expect that you have been her very best friend too and she will be able to cope with what ever is to come with you at her side.
Stay strong and enjoy the good times left. Thinking of you x

You are her best friend as well as her being yours. We know you will make every moment with her count. With each other at each other's side you will both be strong for one another, she doesn't understand but you do.

Hi,

I have just looked on this forum after a year and a half and noticed your post..

I'm so sorry to hear about your Tilly's diagnosis of Osteosarcoma.

Please pm me if you need support as I lost the dog version of the love of my life Dexter in April last year to this terribe disease.

xxxx
