Searching for Goldendoodle

I am looking for a F1 standard Goldendoodle, can anyone recommend a breeder to me. I'm sure that I'm not the only one that has found this a bit of a nightmare. My last dog was a Golden retriever so we had the reassurance of the Kennel club, but with this search I am relying on word of mouth, so any advice is welcome.
