Wow!
Who would pay that price then change their minds - crazy!
Maisy is clearly better off with you :D
Aw thanks, I know we couldn't believe it! Why would they want to give her away she was only 15-16 weeks! they had her for about one month. "more money then sense" is what they admitted to.

No doubt people who thought that money, rather than hard work made a good dog :(

Well they bought it for their young kids rather than themselves since they're just not dog people and realised that was a silly reason to get a dog. It's true what they say; A dog is for life not just for Christmas.

 That is ridiculous!!! I didn't think there was any need for the "A Dog is for life" campaign!! I'm so glad they rehomed her so young though, definitely the right thing to do x

£500. Mum was a family pet (labrador) and father was a stud poodle belonging to the lab owner's friend.

i paid £750 for Rafferty he was 8 weeks old a chocolate brown F1B. i went to northhampton to get him from a lady called eva ,only the one visit (as i had to get someone to take me as i don't drive) to see him and take him home.he had one brother and two sisters, his father was now brownish greyish had been chocolate a standard poodle called 'brillo' and his mother a black F1 labradoodle called 'doodles' or maybe 'noodles' i think she belonged to another lady but she wasn't well so eva had the mother and litter at hers a while before they were born.i had the pick of the litter.i saw the father, mother and grandmother a black lab.i didn't get any papers, to be honest i didn't know if or that you could have them, i think she may have showed me them i'm not sure, i was so excited i can't remember properly.i asked her lots of questions but she didn't ask me many as i think i had covered everything lol.he had drontal and been frontlined .i was also given a bag of purina beta puppy food.she did say she was going to email me some pictures of the previous litter but i haven't had them i know she said she had trouble getting her pics on pets4homes.she also asked me to ring her after a few days to see if he had settled okay.i have lost her number now but if anyone on here had any of the other pups (one of the girls was going to be called 'lottie') and have still got her number or her email address i would appreciate it and would also love to hear and see how his brother and sisters are getting on.i searched for months and months till i found Rafferty and he is exactly what i wanted i can't beleive how much i love him i melt everytime i look at him.he is worth every penny.i do think some people make alot of money out of them and i mean the ones who don't put so much effort into the breeding.Rafferty is now 7 months and a big boy .sarah.

Gypsy, our f2B labradoodle was £700 which I feel is too expensive a price for any dog, but we wanted a labradoodle and that seems to be the going rate

I have 3 doodles, I paid 180 for baby Ted, the other 2 were free, I keep in touch with the previous owner of the 1st 1, my girls previous owner aren't bothered. I think they would have paid quite alot for her, but I think they only got her as a designer dog and found they couldn't cope with her size, I also had to give her number 1 skinhead as her coat was just 1 big matt
