Well it's that time of year again, Cass's insurance needs renewing and I can feel my head hurting already :( At the moment she is with M&S but the policy has gone up to £275.88 for the year! Sadie is also with them but she is not on the same policy, want them both on same policy this time, so here I go trailing the net looking through the mine field of insurers out there.
While I have been looking I came across this site http://www.reviewcentre.com which gives reviews of different insurance companies, just type in pet insurance in the search function on the front page, I thought others might find it useful to have a read through some of the reviews. I have only quickly glanced at the first page but if it helps anyone to sort out insurance then it's definately worth it.
As Tesco says ( which I hear are quite good with pet insurance by the way ) Every little helps
Also any good insurance company recommendations gratefully recieved :D
Trish

Have a look at AXA - someone recommended them to me on here, they do or did underwrite many band name insurance companies and were at least 1/3 cheaper.

I'm with Sainsbury's, £11ish per month, seems okay with what it covers

Ive just signed up with Greenbee (part of John Lewis group)...... My quote was £12 per month. They dont have a labradoodle listed on their list of breeds of dogs so you can put them down as a cross-breed which brings the quote down a little...

I went with pet-insurance.co.uk, it worked out £8 per month for lifetime cover! :D

With one company I got two different quotes and it was much cheaper to insure a poodle cross rather than a labrador cross.

Marley's renewal for M&S is in, it's gone up by £6 a month, which on the whole I think isn't too bad considering he has ongoing itchy skin which is getting treated with immunotherapy at the minute. They've paid out around £500 in the past year. I know I could go elsewhere but then if he does need more immunotherapy they wouldn't cover it so think I will stay put. It's a very good policy and have had no problems whatsoever with them paying out.
