[size=24][size=18]hi there, am lookng for a labradoodle puppy - scruffy one. when i read about breeders it seems some breed in their own homes, others from small kennels? which is best, also can anyone recomend someone who breeds them in the northwest. Would like a golden/pale scruffy. advice much appreciated

I would always prefer to buy a puppy from someone who has reared them in their own home, with lots of people interaction, kids, noises and stuff like that. I believe it makes a less nervous and more predictable dog. Although, a lot of working dogs are often bred in kennels and kept outside so they do not become too domesticated

Always insist on seeing the puppy/puppies with their mother and never buy via a 3rd party.

Thanks for your reply. that was my gut feeling too, but i didnt know if i was wrong and was going to be ignoring a population of good breeders for pet doodles.

Thanks again
