going out to poop on his own
hi first post on forum so hi to everyone ,i have a 15 week old puppy named cooper and is 99% house trained but he wont go intogarden on his own he just sits on doorstep till i go out ,i try to sneak back in when his playing but he runs and crys at back door,should i just be firm and leave him out there ,but i dont want him to get scared of going out as i may leave him there

Not sure I can be of much help - Cairo is coming up for 15 weeks, but has always been super confident and doesn't mind whether we are there or not. Even saying that, though, I always accompany her outside (I have to keep an eye on what she is picking up...gravel, moss, weeds
, anything that she can get in her mouth!).
Cooper is still young. If you invest the time now to make sure he is confident he'll soon be letting you know that he doesn't need you anymore

hi thanks for hat ,good news he did his first poo on his own yesterdaybut i kmow what you mean about watching what they are picking up ,he really likes to dig and nibble on my plants ,next issue is to put astop to biting lol
