wife said those words that strike fear into my heart!can you put the duvet cover on while i have a shower?ok watched her loads of times and it looks easy cant do it that way.i end up with a bed covering looking like there is a small child inside wife fluffs here fluffs there and it lays perfectly not a crease,my attempt resembles a 3d map of the himalayas,oh well plan b climb inside the duvet and try and sort it out, there i am getting hotter and more p*ssed off when i heard it,pad, pad, pad minnie moo arrived in the bedroom it all went quiet and then 32 kilos of doodle hit me smack in the back "uuuugh" said i,moo shouts dont worry dad ill get you out and promptly grabs my jeans and starts pulling, jack! jack! she shouts help the beds eating dad, jack comes bounding in and promptly starts helping moo."get off you pair of idiots" i shout as i am dragged out of the duvet cover and dumped on the floor!saved you dad says moo.
all i asked was for you to put the duvet cover on and you start messing about with the dogs! sue has finished her shower and is glowering at me,but but i protest moo and jack try to explain but someone isnt listening.

Stout likes to 'help' with the duvet, or should that be hinder. He now gets shut out of the room while I wrestle with in, then comes and irons out the lumps after. Chris normally ends up inside the duvet cover too

Brilliant example of doodles rushing to the rescue.
Duvet tip: start with the the cover inside out.
stick your arms in and grab the two end corners.
grab the two end corners of the duvet as well.
And shake down the duvet cover over the duvet. (I have to stand at the top of the stairs to do this bit - cos iI'm a short-arse  )
Then all you have to do is shake it over the bed to straighten!
and voila! :D
You can practise this technique on pillows/ pillowcases before the big test if you like.
:D
