Looking for a large cottage/house.....

You can use this area for idle or not so idle chat that is not related to Labradoodles as long as you keep it free of flame wars and anything obscene.

Looking for a large cottage/house.....

Post by kobi&jazz » 25 Apr 2017, 21:41

We are a group of 14 'mature' women looking to spend a hen weekend either Derbyshire, Peak District or Lake District in July but I am struggling to find accommodation (either large house\cottage for all or smaller accommodation close together) so I am wondering if anyone has any idea's ???? Thank you

Surprisingly more difficult than one expects. Plenty properties it seems down south. I cannot find the website I used whe looking.
Guess you've tried the national trust.Search for estate type properties too.

3years ago we booked with Lake Lovers. They have large cottages/ houses to sleep up to 14. Have a look. Very good company. They have dog friendly cottages too. Anny

Anny, I have to say I was rather hesitant to put "lake lovers" into a google search!

Awww......thanks Pollydoodle and Anny for your replies.
I have sent lots of emails from the sites mentioned so hopefully something will be available. Its such a bad time to try and get a weekend as many places won't accept short breaks in peak season.
Pollydoodle - it does seem more choice down South.

Once again thanks guys :D
