Hello all,

So, after a few reviews and discussions with some of you on here, I am so so pleased with my recent purchases for Holly - so I thought I'd share:

1) A Red Dingo collar - purple with daisies on if you're interested! :D

2) A Furminator grooming tool - deshedding tool - call it what you will, it is amazing!! We went for the long haired version for medium dogs - perfect size tool for Holly.

Attached are a few photos - one of Hols in her new accessory, the other showing the amount of dead fur that The Furminator took out of her coat in just 10 minutes - quite extraordinary!

So - all in all, I would highly recommend both brands - a collar is a collar (the Red Dingo ones are pretty though, and look like they'll last), however out of the two I'm completely amazed by The Furminator! My husband thought I was mad buying a grooming tool for £25 ("What's wrong with the 2 brushes we already have for her?" he kept asking! ) but well worth the money so far. I am yet to see if it makes a difference to the amount of hair I have to sweep up around the place, but judging by the sheer amount of dead fur that's come off in the first go I'm sure it'll have a positive impact on the amount of sweeping and vacuuming I do! hehe

Wow! thats a lot of fur - enough to make a whole new dog!

We love red dingo collars and leads too - they are very hard-wearing and I love the designs, we have red with white bones!

 I was going to make a joke about that being the hair you just shaved off your leg ! but thought better of it :)

Holly looks very smart in the collar :D

i too bought a collar for Luna - dont know what i was thinking because when it turned up it would have fitted a bear quite nicely

haha - the foot in the photo was more for comparison purposes  but I see what you mean now I look at the photo again! hehe!

Measuring up is always difficult - they don't stay still do they and there's so much fur to account for with a collar size! Anyway, we seem to have got the right size - she looks very cute in it :D
