As above , I want to buy some clippers and wanted to know what which are recommended for doods?

It probably depends on how much you want to pay and what type of coat your doodle has. There was a thread by Katie Rourke on this forum not long ago about grooming which covered the topic of clippers. As 'Archie' is a very dense fleece coated doodle and I had no experience of clippers or clipping at all I took her advice and purchased the heineger cordless clippers and wahl professional combs. I have been extremely pleased with them. They glide through the fur beautifully. My first attempt turned out very well although it took me some hours as I had never done it before. They are rather expensive but very lightweight in comparison to some and when you consider how much it costs to have a doodle clipped would only take about 5 visits and they would have paid for themselves
