RIP Millie
RIP Millie
My mums dog had to PTS this morning she was almost 19 and had lost use of her legs and was blind, we think she was pinning for Chloe too. I remember choosing her as a pup from a rescue centre, she has had a brillant long life full of fun and love. Goodbye Mills sleep tight and play with Chloe at rainbow bridge xxx

So sorry to hear that Clare - 2 losses in 3 weeks is tough.
At least they're running around together now free from pain.
Hugs to you all,

How terribly sad to lose a dog who has been your friend for so long. It does sound as though it was the time to say goodbye, always a heartrending decision but in her best interests. She and Chloe will live on in your memories.

Sweetest Dreams Dear Millie, I am sure you have left your family with many wonderful memories, funny stories, moments of pure frustation and hearts bursting with love a pride... Millie's journey continues the other side of the bridge and her life, whilst sad without you, she knows one day she will rest at your feet once more..
so sorry to hear of your loss, heart breaking

Re: RIP Millie
Thank you everyone for your kind words. We knew the end was near but still doesn't make it any easier especailly with losing Chloe only a couple of weeks ago. My parents have never not had a dog all of thier married life so their house seems so empty and my mum is taking it particularly hard , while my dad is trying to be strong but is hurting badly too.

I am so sorry to hear of your sad loss. Millie obviously had a great life and will be remembered with love by all of your family for ever. Very hard to lose two beloved family members in such a short time and awful for your parents to have lost the heart of their home. Please pass on our condolences to them.
RIP Millie.

Re: RIP Millie
The hardest decision to make is to end the pain and suffering of a much loved family pet, and to have to do it twice so close together is especially grim.
Millie and Chloe are now free of their earthly pain and in a better place.
Thinking of you all, especially your parents at this moment in their grief.

Re: RIP Millie
Thank you everyone for your kinds words. Is it almost a month since we lost Chloe and three weeks since we lost Millie. My mum is finding it really hard to cope with and hates going home to a empty house, she says a house isn't a home without a dog
. She is very adamant she wants another dog and is currently waiting for one to find her
( in her words) and win my dad round to having another as he also took the loss hard.
They are off on holiday soon so she is going to have a good talk to my dad and hopefully when they get back she will start looking for a dog to take care off ( my mum needs to take care of people and feels lost when she hasn't got anything to care for
) Whichever dog finds her is going to be a very very very lucky dog
My mum has also took a great interest in doodles now, so may contact barb for her but she does have some requirements such as a minature doodle and preferably under a year, so watch this space
