Baby Dog Ferox

Post by Gem » 12 Oct 2012, 19:49

Some of you from the Surrey Strollers will remember the large munsterlander Ferox that I brought with me on a couple of doodle walks. Sadly he had to be put down this evening.

He was a huge character and had reached the grand old age of 14 which for his breed is quite impressive. He was operated on 4 months ago to remove a tumour which we hadn't thought he would survive so it was lovely to have this extra time with him. Sadly he picked up an infection recently and despite tablets and best efforts it was just to much for him.

He will be sorely missed, not only by myself and my boyfriend (it was his dog) but also by Tara the alsatian and best friend, Zooey who he always told off and put in her place and of course his owners my boyfriend's parents.

Night night baby dog and god bless, go enjoy a charge about the woods!!

The sea is warm, the beach is wide, the woods are near and there's nothing to fear so run and play to your heart's content.
