Night Tilly

Post by Cate » 05 Mar 2013, 20:20

I just wanted to say goodnight and god bless to Tilly, my chocolate point exotic cat, who passed last night. I can remember the 1st day I got her, she had been badly treated, she came flying out of the carrier all teeth and claws, she beat my american bulldog up. But, after a few months of tlc if I said give mum a kiss she would lick your nose. All my dogs respected herand never chased her.
RIP my little one and don't beat Alf up xx

Oh how sad. At least you can take comfort in the fact she had a lovely home with you.
Take care.

oh Cate - what a shame - I'm sure you will miss her badly but you gave her a good lfe after a bad start and she settled and trusted you enough to give little kisses.
She'll be firmly in charge at rainbow bridge and basking in the warmth there

Oh Cate, I really feel for you. Our cats are very special, and so different from the dogs in personalities. My 18 yr old cat is not going to be able to go on much longer, so this is pretty poignant. He gives gentle nose licks for kisses too...

Cuddle those crazy dogs and let them console you. Xx

Big Hug from me Cate.
All of our pets leave a huge void when they leave us. At least take comfort in the facr that Tilly spent her last days with a family that loved and cared for her.
God bless you Tilly, run free little bossy cat. x

So sorry for you. Cats are who we turn to for some sensible affection while our dogs are all over the place :) I have two and I love them to pieces, in a totally different way than I love Phoebe. Losing any of our furry friends would be (will be  ) so hard.

Thank you for your kind words. I have other cats, and love them all, but Tilly has left a big gap with her having such a huge personality
