Would be nice to see more pics.. From what i see she has a Lab head and a Collie body lol but another pic from a different angle may be different again... She is a cutie pie tho... Do understand why your curious i would be too.. Not all Breeders are stright down the line to many of them its just money.. I doubt i would of bought a pup without seeing Mum first... Your dog may change as she gets older... I wish you luck in your search xxx

Hi,

Roobarb has a thin white stripe on his chest. His mum was KC reg solid chocolate lab, breeder said labs can have white flash on chest, have looked up and is in the breed description

I have also seen a very typical show type black lab puppy with exactly the same thin white stripe.

Hi there, just seen your post about the breeder in Wisbech. Don't particularly want to defend her, but I got Harvery from her in January. I was told his father was a 9th generation labradoodle, and his mum was a 2nd generation backcrossed to poodle. I saw them both at her home, and three of Harvey's siblings, who were all fairly flat coated. They had all just been bathed (which seemed a bit unnecessary to me), but they all looked like very healthy, bouncy puppies who were obviously living in her lounge. He had had his first visit to the vets, and she even gave me the next dose of wormer/flea treatment. Harvey looks like a multi-gen labradoodle to me, comparing him to others on the forum. I don't think he had been socialised much, but obviously played a lot with the young boy there. He's been such a good puppy so far, toilet trained almost straight away, and just loves all people and dogs. It's really hard to know who some of these breeders are, but I made my decision based on the nice playful nature of all the pups, and the fact that I'd seen both parents.

Hi - I think we have both been dealt with by the same breeder. I would value talking to via email. I think my dog may be your dogs mum!!

[quote="loveel1"]Hi, Yes the breeders name is Heather, I did buy a puppy from her, here is a picture of Bella. Her coat was in really bad condition and she suffered from scaly, dry skin and was incredibly thin but with a few baths and a diet of good food her coat is now fantastic. She has the most fantastic nature and we feel really lucky to have such a wonderful dog. She was sold as a phantom labradoodle, however, SO many people, even the vet and lady who recently clipped her have asked if she has a German Shepherd Parent! She is still only slightly larger than a Westie, even at 24 weeks so I feel that she wouldn't be so small if she did have German Shepherd in her. Your thoughts please? I did have concerns about the breeder when visiting her house but I have to say I have been in touch since bringing Bella home and she has been great and we do have the most wonderful dog.
