F1 Chocolate Miniatures from Lancashire - DOB 29th Jan 2012

Post by Masil » 03 May 2012, 12:45

Hi all. Are there any of Coco's siblings out there? Litter of 8 chocolate miniature F1s born on 29th January - 4 boys and 4 girls (near Accrington). Mum is Ruby (chocolate lab) and Dad is Brigadier du Bois (chocolate miniature poodle). It would be great if any other owners are on the forum :D

Hi Daisy! Do you know the name of your Coco's mum or dad? Ours were called Ruby and Brigadier du Bois and the breeder's name was Bronwyn. Perhaps our dogs are half-sisters. Funny how they are both called Coco :D

yes i do remember the name bronwyn now :) we have only met one of cocos half sisters by accident on a walk which they both looked very similar to each other! So your coco is nearly 8 months old now, how sweet :) You have probably already noticed how loving and caring these labradoodles are! Ours is 1 and a half now and is still as crazy as when we got her! We hope you are getting along well with your little puppy :D

Hi,

I think ours may be related too. Stitch's granddad was Brigadier Du Bois (sounds like he gets round a bit!) and her grandmother was Charnock Rolo.

Not quite sure how related that makes stitch to Coco, although her mum was called coco, which is strange!

Hi again,

Do any of your doodles have a grey/silver hairline in them? We took stitch to the beauty parlour and she's come back with a racing doodle stripe!!

Just wondered if it was in her grandfathers line as yours has the same grandad, brigadier du bois

THanks

Toby was born 29th Jan 2012 and we got him from someone near Ferngore in Accrington. His dad was a miniature chocolate poodle called Brigadier Du Bois. His mum was a chocolate Labrador but we can't remember her name...

Is Toby any relation to your Labradoodle? We think he is!

Hi,

I'm sure my Betty must belong in this group! she was born on 20/12/2010 to Ruby (Chocolate Lab) & Brigadier Du Bois (Miniature Choc poodle).

The breeders were called Frits and Bronwyn and lived in a little cottage just outside Accrington. Betty was 2 in December and is an absolute little love, have tried to post some pics but not sure if it has worked.

I can't believe I have only just seen these replies!

Kcoates - I think Toby could well be one of Coco's brothers from the same litter - there were 4 boys and 4 girls, and we bought the last girl (there were 3 boys left when we visited). How exciting - would love to see some recent pics of Toby :D
Christine - Betty is definitely Coco's older sister. We only met Bronwyn but they lived in a lovely little cottage in the middle of the most wonderful countryside. I'm really thrilled that Coco has some relatives on here. What a shame we probably live so far apart (we are in Essex) as I would love to meet them :D :D
