Hi, we've not posted for ages but see as we will be attending the NW doodle meet next Sunday it has prompted me to get involved again especially as we need some advice  :?

Any ideas on where we can take our 2 for a short break in March/April time? :? let us know if you've been anywhere good, bear in mind we have 2 doodles and haven't been away with the 2 of them before we live in Cheshire and don't want to travel too far

Many thanks and Happy New Year to you and all your lovely doodles

Hi Janette,

Have you considered North Wales, maybe the Conwy Valley or Anglesey? We've visited both with two dogs several times and have always had a great welcome and found loads of good walking spots. Have a look at Sykes Cottages, they have a lot in the area, several take two dogs and it's often possible to have short breaks in them. We stayed in one called the Shippon

A lovely quiet spot with very welcoming owners. There's a good pub not far away - the Groes Inn, which allows dogs in the bar while you eat.

Hope this helps!

Sarah

Groes inn is fab. They have excellent rooms - our 2 doggies have stayed there. Newby bridge hotel in lakes is also very reasonable and dog friendly.
