Dog friendly walk places in the midlands

Post by AustinsMumma » 15 Apr 2014, 17:55

Afternoon all
Hope you are enjoying the sunshine! :o

Been looking for different calm rambling places to take Austin a) now the weather is improving and b) now it's the easter hols and there are tons of kids and footballs about
Anyways... 2 I have come across are Oversley Woods Alcester & Hartshill Hayes Country Park Nuneaton
Don't know if any of you are familiar with them already, or are near enough to be interested?
The woods have a great bluebell field and you can walk for miles even on busy days without seeing anyone... and the Hayes Park isn't too busy either, and again you can mingle with people or go off on rambles
So a bit of everything, which is what I like. Nothing too hustley bustley and commercial.

Here's a link to my fb album with some photos from the past few days at both places (as I can't be bothered to upload to photobucket... too many)
