Dog friendly pub near Corfe Castle

Post by suebedo » 20 Apr 2014, 21:06

Our first stop after our day trip to the doodle walk at Studland was at this pub near Corfe Castle.

We've been there before with the doods in the evening but yesterday it was glorious sunshine (after an overcast chilly walk on the beach) and beautiful views of Corfe Castle. We actually sat outside as it was so lovely but on our previous visit, we were inside.

Unfortunately we arrived too late for lunch so had to move on as we were very hungry for the lighter bites they serve in the afternoon but will be going back there soon.

Looks great. We had such a lovely week in Dorset last August, staying in a village called Winfrith Newburgh; a great base for a really relaxing break. Fozzie would love the beach at Lulworth cove and Durdle Door. Amazing scenery and lots of day trips, and a stay in the New Forest for us en route back.

Isn't Corfe Castle splendid!!
