We used to post regularly but haven’t used the site for several years and lost my contact details. I have two doodles called Lulu and Woody. They are both 9 now. We moved to north wales where we live on the beach. We now have a new addition to our family - a lovely Portuguese Water Dog puppy called Boa.
Im not sure if anyone remembers us x

:D :D Welcome Home Woody, Lulu & Boa :D .
Its lovely to see you back on the forum.
How do the doods get along with Boa? Do Portugese water dogs have same traits as a dood?
Look forward to hearing all about your 3 :)

They get along fine - woody in particular adores her. Boa is 22 weeks now. Boa means good in Portuguese. She was born in Portugal where my niece lives. She very kindly looked after her until she was old enough for a passport then they drove her all the way to north wales. They are very different in temperament , although people think she is a cockerpoo when they are all out walking. Portuguese Water Dogs are very easy to train and it’s certainly the case with Boa. She’s very calm and easy going but likes to carry something in her mouth all the time. They are known as Velcro dogs because they don’t leave your side. She is more of a guard dog than my doodles but they are getting on abit now. We scrapped the crate after a week because she doesn’t chew and would rather have a basket

Thank you for replying and I remember you and your two x

Hi and welcome back to all of you. I remember Woody and Lulu from the past so great to see you again and a special welcome to Boa. You may remember me and my dood M, although I lost M just over 5 years ago I still love popping in here to get some doodle 'time'. I still have my little JR who has just celebrated her 15 birthday. Really looking forward to hearing up to date news about your lovely doodles and also interested in how Boa progresses - not had any experience of water dogs.

We have a holiday home in North Wales, near Porthmadog. We are on black rock sands nearly every weekend. We have 2 labradoodles. Wonder if we have met and not realised
