Dude weight, again!
Re: Dude weight, again!
I looked at Luna and me yesterday and might try stout on the turkey one. Coconut has come back on stouts intolerance list in the past so will start with a small order to start! We normally know in a couple of days if he is going to have a problem with a food! Stout only has turkey with the occasional bit of beef and can't have chicken

You can buy a minimum of 5kg I think. We bought the Stater box. I would really recommend you call Sammy. She's SO helpful and knowledgable. I've also emailed her and she replies promptly. I feel she's guided us through things. The "patties" look good enough to eat! Like "human"top range burgers! Anny x

Glad the raw is going down well. Just had a look at Luna and me and it looks like good stuf, but expensive! It would cost me almost £200 a month to feed that to my guys!

Of course Bid, anything x 3 will seem expensive
The 6patties a day for Dude cost £2.16 (36p a patty)and because I can order small quantities with next day delivery that seems good value.
As I grow in confidence ( and get a bigger freezer
)I may well move on to buying real meat, offal and bone. Now that he's on Raw I can't see us going back to processed. Anny

Re: Dude weight, again!
I worked out it is about 10p a kilo cheaper than natural instinct - and £9 delivery. We normally order Stout 22 kg a time so not loads cheaper - but it all helps! We have been getting loads of broken plastic tubs recently which is a pain.

Re: Dude weight, again!
Can I ask the weight of Dude for feeding costs? Ours are fine on Eden , but it's always good to explore other options.
Re: Dude weight, again!
Dude is currently around 23kg, so I was advised to give him 6patties a day divided into 3meals. They have a useful calculator on the web site. The patties come in thick strong plastic bags with 9 patties in each bag. I am ordering 7 bags at a time which fit easily into one drawer of my freezer. It's really easy: I take out 6 patties the night before and defrost them in the fridge, ready for next day. Dude likes all of the flavours so I buy a few varieties to ring the changes. I'm hoping he might put on a bit more weight now that he's not pooing out anywhere near as much as he was previously
We are now getting 2teeny lots a day!
